Biography

Analytical Experience

Non-Traditional Isotope Laboratory, University of Washington

Advisor: Prof. Fangzhen Teng | August 2025 - May 2026

  • Isotope Analysis: Conduct high-precision measurements of Magnesium (Mg) and Potassium (K) stable isotopes using MC-ICP-MS to trace crustal recycling in subduction zones.
  • Chemical Separation: Developed skills in column chemistry and cation exchange chromatography, successfully isolating target elements from complex matrices with high recovery rates and purity.
  • Laboratory Operations: Execute routine laboratory operations and strictly follow basic clean-lab procedures, maintaining a contamination-free environment for high-sensitivity trace element analysis.

Research Interests

Using isotopic and analytical techniques to study extraterrestrial materials (meteorites, returned samples, cosmic dust) to investigate the composition and evolution of planets.

Education

BS Geosciences, Earth and Space Sciences, University of Washington, Seattle - 2025
